Gin Masterclass Comes To The Long Melford Swan

Posted 12 May 2017

2016 was a boom year for gin with over 40 million bottles being sold across the UK. As the appetite for gin grows and with the myriad of flavour combinations available, the Long Melford Swan is pleased to announce its first ever ‘Celebration of Gin’ weekend.

On Friday 18th March, Williams Chase & Fever-Tree Tonic  will create a pop up bar in the Duck Deli from 6-9pm. A gin expert will be on hand to talk about how to create the perfect G&T by using a variety of garnishes and flavours.

The celebration will continue on Saturday 18th March, with a gin masterclass and a carefully paired afternoon tea. Led by Hayman’s Distillers, the afternoon will include a tasting experience to explore the wide range of flavours in the nations favourite spirit.

Lorna Pissarro, sales and marketing director, Stuart Inns Group commented; “Our artisanal gin menu has been incredibly popular with customers experimenting with different flavour combinations. We hope our gin celebration will not only be lots of fun but will also help our customers master the art of the perfect G&T.”

Tickets for the pop up gin bar are £15pp which includes three drinks.

The gin masterclass and afternoon tea is £32pp. Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
